SAN DIEGO, October, 2018 – Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s dining establishments – Addison, Amaya and The Clubhouse Grill – will offer special Thanksgiving holiday fare on Thursday, November 22. Destination diners and local guests will have the opportunity to savor an eight-course tasting menu at award-winning Addison; a special all-day three-course menu with various options at Amaya; and a holiday buffet at The Clubhouse Grill.
Families are encouraged to enjoy a day of fun as the Explorer’s Club hosts outdoor games and activities on the Aria Lawn from 11am – 1pm, complimentary for resort guests and restaurant diners.

Amaya Three-Course Tasting Menu with Choices

From midday until evening Chef de Cuisine Bryn McArthur and his culinary team will please guests and their families with a prix-fixe three-course tasting menu of fall delights. First course options include Pumpkin Soup, Smoked Salmon or a Chino Farms Winter salad with goat cheese. The entrée options include a classic Thanksgiving plate of Roasted Turkey served with potato puree, brussles sprouts, stuffing and turkey jus; Braised Lamb Shank with soft polenta, baby vegetables and gremolata; Pan Seared California Bass with salt cod brandade, sprouting broccoli and a thyme flavored butter sauce; or Goat Cheese & Butternut Squash Ravioli with chestnuts, sage and brown butter. The dessert options include holiday favorite Traditional Pumpkin Tart with cranberry coulis; Chocolate Pecan Cake with caramelized pecans and milk chocolate mousse; or an Almond Panna Cotta with fresh berries, pomegranate and oatmeal crumble.
